The first Winter Workshop on Adjusting Your Timing Chain was a huge success. Thanks to Dan and Estelle at R&E for putting this on for us. Click on the photo below to see the rest of the images.

The second Winter Workshop with Mike Eddy on Tandeming Techniques was a huge success with 21 members in attendance. You missed some great brownies! (Thanks Denise.) Click on the images below to see two more.

The 3rd Winter Workshop with Dick Raforth was excellent. Dick had a powerpoint presentation full of charts and graphs about levels of fat and carbs burned, exertion levels, etc. He answered many questions from the 24 members in attendance. A couple of important points he made included: take in carbs before you are hungry, and liquids well before you are thirsty. If you missed it you can visit Dr. Raforth’s web site. The Paceline Workshop (March 10) couldn’t be rained out twice so two hardy tandem teams showed up for a fabulous presentation by Tamara & Michael followed by an hour of soggy and muddy practice riding. Shown above are Jay & Sara, Michael & Tamara and Spencer and Sheila. We hope to repeat this valuable workshop later in the season when the weather is better.
