Sept. 14: Snohomish/ Everett/ Monroe Ride
On September 14, a warm late summer day and the last sunny day forecast, we had 6 tandems show up for the Snohomish/Everett/Monroe ride. Four miles into it Jay and Sara’s front tire exploded to wake us all up. Consensus was
it must have been some kind of pinch flat.This was a great, stay together group with everyone’s riding style compatible. Once we got to Snohomish with no further incident, two tandems decided not to continue on. After a delicious stop at the Snohomish Pie Company four teams continued onto the hilly part of the ride. Happy to report all had a good time and we all hoped that this wasn’t the last warm weather ride of the year.
